Here is the blog layout:
www.welkegeneeswijzewerkt.nl/index.php?o...mid=16&limitstart=20

The read more (lees meer) link here creates a long link like:

www.welkegeneeswijzewerkt.nl/index.php?o...uigenissen&Itemid=36

Butt Joomlacomments only works on a short link like:
www.welkegeneeswijzewerkt.nl/index.php?o...t&view=article&id=37

 I don't know why read more uses so long links... What to do to make Joomlacomment work or to make links shorter?

Thanks

Why is that in there? What is creating those links? It looks like a very poor attempt at an SEF-link builder Joomla extension to me, and the JoomlaComment component isn't injected.

Your HTML output on every article is broken, Acajoom News is crashing as breaking the PHP processing. Try disabling that extension, clearing your cache, and see if the Read More/Lees Meer buttons create the proper shorter links.

EDIT: Sorry, bo I don't think it's the Acajoom News module, and the HTML is not broken. It looks like it is broken because it has style="text-align:"> in the module which gives me an error (empty text-align style) but that's all.

I don't know why it's even creating those extra-long links, I'm pretty sure there's no option in Joomla core for it so I guess it's another extension. Maybe Daniel knows. If you would be willing to give me backend access, PM me a username and password to login and I could take a look? Or we will wait for Daniel, he might have seen this before :)

Once you start asking questions, you find the answer yourself.

Found the answer: I turned off plugin "system - cache", and problem was gone!

You turned off the cache? Hmm... that's not a very good solution :( your server will be overloaded easily. Have you tried turning it back on to see if it creates the bad links again? I don't see why the System Cache plugin is creating the long URLS... do you have any more caching extensions that could be an "addon" to the Joomla Cache?

Thanks for helping, I will check on caching systems.

I checked a few other similar websites. Plugin system - cache was probably never turned on on those websites, so I guess I can do without on this website too.

Maybe this is part of the clue: when I cutt off only "&Itemid=28", I get what I want.

I had SEF404, uninstalled this component, would it still have influence?

I will see if I can find the cache and delete it. Maybe when I switch on plugin system - cache afterwards, everything will work just fine.
It talked to my collegue about plugin system - cache. He says: never use it! It allways creates trouble and your system hardly becomes faster.
