I can't remember if I already mentioned this somewhere, but i'm posting this to see if other users also experience the same problem - I tried it with Beta 2 and the Modern template aswell as my current development build and custom template.

Basically, if you originally made a reply (logged in) and the Comment appears nested (indented) when you have that enabled, go back and edit that nested/indented comment then save it - the nest/indent will disappear and it'll turn into a normal comment.

If someone can confirm it for me so I know its not something wierd with my server please do :)

Hmm don't be disheartened! I'll try to figure it out, surely we just need an extra check on the Submit Form for the Edit function to preserve the original nest... (easier said than done?)

OK Daniel, I think this is related to something we spoke about not long ago.

After you click Edit, the nested post does spring-back to a normal comment - but after you refresh the page, it obviously re-renders everything, so the edited post is then drawn correctly.

It's that AJAX stuff I suppose - it's only a visual thing, but all these glitches are why we're still in Beta I suppose :(
