TOPIC: Sender name not visible if no title added

Hi,

I have a small problem. I just noticed that the name of the sender is not visible if they don't add a title. Is this something I easily can fix on my own? I went into the backend and added an empty space as title and now "User - " is visible. Is there a way to disable titles for comments altogether and still have the name visible? Just taking out the input field for title doesn't seem like a good idea. Then no names would show...

Name is not visible where? Can you give me a screenshot or so. Also which verion do you use?

I'm using version 4.0.
When a user adds a comment but does not enter a title, the comment is displayed, but the name of the user is not.
When this happened I the user hadn't added a name as well, but when I went into the backend to check the name was there. It was just not displayed in the article.

I added a simple space as title in the backend and reloaded the page and suddenly the name was visible.

What template are you using?

Can you try it with the modern template?

I've made my own template. I tried changing to beez and rhuk_milkyway but it didn't help.

I made some modification to the index file in the template, but I just copy-pasted in the original and still no change. I'll try to backtrace my steps and see what else might have gone wrong.

I'd messed around changing the layout a bit in the index.html file and somehow it created the bug. But I got it fixed =)

You really have a great extension here and it's super that you maintain it so well with this forum. Great with dedicated people!
