TOPIC: Uninstalled JoomlaComment but still appears in Admin Menu

I recently uninstalled Joomla Comment from my Joomla 1.5.12 site.

However, the links still appear in the Administration Components menu.

I removed the com_comments folder and the jos_comment tables manually, which I probably should have done, but the menu item still appears.

How do I get rid of it?

go to the jos_component table and look for the joomlacomments entries.

P.S. May I ask why are you uninstalling?

No, problem with the actual component itself... it's just the guy I'm working for didn't want the functionality after all, so I uninstalled it.

And yes I would use it again
