TOPIC: Disabling UBB code disables voting

Hi,

I'm running Joomla 1.5.3 with !JoomlaComment 3.25. When I disable the use of UBBcode via the administration panel, the option to vote goes away as well. Is this a known bug?

Are you sure that you also didn't disable voting?

No I'm sure. I've tested it thoroughly.

Is there anything I could check? I know PHP and SQL too if that helps.

Do you suspect anything? I don't have time to track down the bug on my own this week, but I would appreciate it very much if you could tell me where to look inside the code or the database. Especially where the options are stored and where the HTML is generated.

I have de same problem. I'm using joomla 1.5.6 and !JoomlaComment 3.26.

If you both are having some problems then something must be wrong, but without access to your web sites I can not help you.
