Hi,

I am having a problem on my website.

The first comment posted on an article works fine, but a second one cannot be added. The send buton just flashes.

I have tried removing the live_site value in the config file, but my whole site just falls over if I do this!

The error I get from IE is tcomment.value is null or not an object.

This is the page I am trying to add a comment to.

I have now worked out what was causing the problem.

I was displaying a module below the content of the page that shows the introduction to the latest 5 items.

JoomlaComment was displaying another comment area in the module as well as the one at the bottom of the item, so there were 2 showing on the page. When I removed the module I could post again.

Is there any way that I can tell JoomlaComment not to display itself when only the introduction is shown?

What is this module? Can you send it to us for test? I don't think that it should display a comment area - look our blog module - there is no comment area.

It is the Display News module.

I had linked it to one menu item but it also displayed at the item level, where the duplicate comment section appeared. I have attached the mod. Display_News_1.zip
