My site runs the following software:
Joomla 1.0.15
!JoomlaComment 3.26
PHP 5.2.8
MySQL 5.0.77-community
Apache 2.2.11 (Unix)

I have used the software for a long time with great success. Thank you for a great product. I have always had anonymous comments disabled.

In the last week or so, I've started getting Anonymous comments anyway. Each of them has only an attempted link to a website in russia. (Example )

They've been one or two a day. I keep deleting them, but I wonder why this is happening at all.

It is obvious to me that it's automated, so it's some kind of bot, but why is this bot being allowed to post anonymous comments, when I don't allow anonymous comments? Perhaps a user registered as anonymous? (don't kill me for this suggestion ) Perhaps next time this user or bot posts a comment you can look at the server access logs to see what scripts were called? The content page is the page where they ended up posting the comment. There is no /index2.php, of course.
