TOPIC: Error Message on clicking send.

Tried to post using 4.0

Using Joomly 1.5.9 and !JoomlaComment Version 4.0 only Joomla 1.5 native

Got this error after clicking "send" in the comments text area.

Mysql and php version?

Did you make any changes to the language or template file?

Is debugging on?

I did make changes to the language file. I added this line of code:

JOSC_define('_JOOMLACOMMENT_ONLYREGISTERED', 'You need to <a href=" www.comunityplace.com/component/user/login ">sign in</a> or <a href=" www.comunityplace.com/component/user/?task=register ">register</a> in order to post comments.' );

Did that mess things up?

Try it with a standart joomlacomment language file - if it is working, then the language file is the problem.

Please make sure to save the file in UTF-8 format.

I tried putting everything the way it was, no luck. I think it's still a bit buggy.

Lastly, do you have a license for removal of powered by?

Don't try to remove it.
Just choose another language file in the backend - if it is working, then you have made something wrong.

Most probably you didn't save the file in UTF-8.

I think I've given this the best shot I have.

1. I uninstalled the application, then reinstalled, made no modifications whatsoever. It didn't work.

2. I enabled/disabled as many things as I could (using captcha or not, mod approved or not, etc.), one by one to see if that helped. It didn't work.

I'm still getting (with captcha being off):

Also, in the EMAIL textfield, it says "AUTOMATIC" and it cannot be removed.
