Sorry for the delay. I somehow missed your post.

It is not a bug, it is a feature

Look under content settings->security->Overflow there you can change the values for line length and so on. That should solve your problems.

Here I solved it with settings->security->Overflow-> Line max length: 1000 (same of the Post max length)
