TOPIC: Voting Problem - Help! Kill the problem plz!

I use joomlacomment. it was fine and no problem with it. but some days ago, without any change in site or component, voting buttons return error in IE. there is no problem with FF. in IE when I press the button, it updates the database but doesn't refresh and doesn't show the new sum. in FF it's fine.

Help please. my site is somehow heavytraffic and a problem such this is really disturbing:(

That seems to be only IE6 problem. Under FF3 and IE7 I don't have any problems with your web site.

Thanks, but about 60% of the users use IE6 and this is really annoying. can you suggest a solution?

Can you please look at the source code of your page. Is the language that it is written it readable with IE6? For me that are only squares and that can be causing the problem. Did you edit your template?
What is the local charset in joomlacomment? Utf-8 or something else?

You are using very, very old version of !joomlacomment, that is even not developed from alain
Make a database backup - uninstall it and install the latest version from here:

Yes. I know. it's old. in fact, I have customized and hacked the old code about one or two years ago. recently I uninstalled and installed the new versions some times but could'nt recustomize it again. the code is so complicated for me. if you solve the current problem with old code for me I'll appreciate your effort.

You are experiencing ajax/javascript error. You should have changed something - your template or perhaps your host changed something.
What customization are you talking about?
