TOPIC: latest hotspots module

Hi Im using the latest hotspots module and there is a little problem with it. The list and links come up fine but its missing the username of the person who submitted a hotspot. For example it says:

Hotspot name created by on 09-09-2013

instead of

Hotspot name created by username on 09-09-2013

Hey Marinos,
Is it possible that the user who created the hotspot has been deleted from the DB?

Very sorry about the late reply. No its not possible, all users are still in the database and active members on the site. I'm running joomla 3.1. I have attached a screenshot. Is there any other info I could give to help?

Can you start a private ticket and give me ftp access to the site?

i experienced the same problem. just turn on "created by" at configuration/View/ and the username should appear.

I dont see configurations in the hotspot component or module anywhere. Can you point me to where it is?

go to the hotspots component in backend. above the menu on the left side (first entry "dashboard") is a button "options". click on that and you will be directed to the hotspots options

im using joomla 3. hope its same on other joomla versions.

I thought you meant in options but I still cant find it.

I click on options and find:
Basic settings
Layout
Advanced settings
Map
Security
Live update settings
Permissions

I don't see configurations or view or "created by". However in the 'layout' tab I have set 'show author' to yes. Is this what you are referring to?

I'm also using Joomla 3
