TOPIC: Need a module for displaying the map

To integrate this excellent map system into our site we would prefer to feature the map as a module rather than a menu link. Is there a module available to render the content? It seems limited to only be able to use the component function.

We currently don't have a module. You could try it with an iframe, but having the map in a small module on the page doesn't seem like a very good idea to me.

How can this be considered a bad idea? Why do you say that? I have a website that promotes various accommodations, when you find the accommodation you want you dont want to show other accommodations in that property's page, it makes absolute more sense than having a specific location module as opposed to a latest module. This is only one niche I can think of many literally hundreds other applications for this? Having the component only create a link seems incomplete, now I have to use an additional mapping program ie widgetkit to do individual maps for loads of properties, increasing the use of scripts in my site making it slower and also will affect google rank due to increased page loading speed.

So, I'm on your site & I'm looking on a page with 1000 locations. Once I zoom over the area I'm interested in I find a hotel that I liike. I can click on the read more link and it can either lead me to:
hotspot single view - here you would only see the location with details
or if you configure it --> to an article page.

In the article page you could use our plugin to load the map with the hotspot on it...

What is so bad about that workflow?

Ok, I must apologies, I was not aware that there was a plugin that does this, would be nice however if the plugin worked if placed within a module, and that you can actually set the width, I require full width in category view, and smaller width when viewing certain articles, can this be done?

I just need to be able to size this map smaller when calling it with a plugin in content? Any suggestions?

For some reason I thought this {hotspots hotspot=3} would call the location but it doesn't here is the link estarwebdesign.co.za/travel/found-travel...puto-mozambique.html , it should show the map of just that hotspot.

I just realized the only way to obtain the id is by opening each hotspot, is there no way that you can list the id along with the titles ? and it does not select the custom marker for the hotspot you select, only the category that icon you chose for that cat??
