I have installed the component hotspots and I want to insert a map into a module, but I can not do it.
I have activated the plugin Content - hotspots and as you can see in the image in the html module I have the following set {hotspots hotspot = 1}

I hope you can help me.

Regards and thanks in advance.

PD: sorry but I'm not Spanish and English and the text is translated from google

Hey Jose,
Please download the latest dev release from here:
compojoom.com/component/ars/repository/dev-hotspots/gita35aad9

After that make sure that the content - Hotspots plugin is enabled & that in your module, in the Options you've set prepare content to enabled.

I've just tested it with the dev. release and I was able to show the map with a hotspot on it.

Regards,
Daniel

Hello Daniel.
Download the new version of hotspots and install it from the Extensions Manager.
The content plugin was already enabled for version 3.2.2
In locations I have only one hot spot so the id is 1
In the article in the section I have only the following html:
<p> hotspot hotspot = {1} </ p>
And the same thing is happening not only the map appears as follows:

I hope you can help me.
A greeting.
PS: sorry for the English but is translated from google.

Dear Daniel,

I try to integrate the map in an article (version 3.2.2.) but it only shows text in the article

{hotspots hotspot=1}

Best regards,

Hello Daniel
I used your command to call a map on an article but i want to show as well the categories and all the icon on the top.

If i use the other option inserting a map into and article using a hidden-menu and putting the code of the iframe it works good, but my problem in the iframe is: that if I click in the image or read more link from any location it makes the link but it opens the page in the iframe space in the same current page, how can i open a _blank page clicking the links in the location popup inside the map.

Thanks..!

Hi, Daniel!
Can you check the content plugin hotspots v.3.2.2?
When one use it 2 or more times in the same article/module (custom html), the plugin generates only the first occurance of the plugin from among the text.
Is that possible to use this plugin twice in the same article using different values for the hotspot id?

Example:
<p>
This is a test for my home address:
</p>
{hotspots hotspot=5}
<hr />
<p>
... and this my business address:
</p>
{hotspots hotspot=6}

Thank a lot!

P.S.

Hey Veselin,
Yes this is currently the way the module works. I'll try to update it for the next version and make it able to show multiple locations in the same article.

Regards,
Daniel

P.S. Има секция за български език във форума :)
