TOPIC: slide_menu

Hi,

Is there any way to get the sliding tab to appear directly when you see the map? Without having to click the small arrow i mean.

Im trying to build my own module so i can do a directions-search form from my start page. And ive managed to the the fields to fill out but nothings showing on the map.
I can live with that but i need the tab to appear so the users can se the "get directions here" buton and click it.

Hop my bad english makes sense and that you know what i mean. =) And I also hope therese an easy way to make the tab appear from the beginning.

Hey Jenny,
Currently it is not possible to do this. In version 3 - you can select more than 1 start category and the menu will auto open on the cats. I also plan to add an option to start with 0 categories -> this will open the menu centered on the directions tab.

Anyway - this is going to be version 3

Right now you can fire a click event on the menu button. This is the required js code.
