Hi - A feature that allows hotspots to have files associated with them for users to download. For example my site has GPS routes for users to download and I currently use Docman for this. What I would love is to have a map off all the starting points of the routes so users can then click the hotspot and download the file. That is just my example, I'm sure others would like that kind of feature.

cheers Pete

What format are the GPS routes? KML or what?
I'm planning on adding a relation between a KML file and a hotspot. This way clicking on particular hotspot could load the KML file and when in single view we could offer download link.
Regards,
Daniel

Hi Daniel - The link between kml and a hotspot sounds good. I guess the KML would only point to a single location?
The routes are mainly in GPX format. I wonder if there is a way to use the starting point/location from a GPX file to pin the hotspot and then offer the complete GPX/KML/etc... as a download. If that is pushing it, then I guess what may be easier (for my example anyway) is to maybe add an option to upload any file to be associated with the hotspot and then allow people viewing it to download the file. That could be helpful for other people too - depends what they use hotspots for I guess.

thanks Pete
