TOPIC: Filter by date or display hotspots added in month

Dear Daniel,

First of all, I would like to thank you for great work and very useful component.
It's the basis of my site.

I miss only one feature which will make Hotspots componenet absolutely perfect for me.
Because of many hotspots will be regularly added to this component on my site, I would like to ask you if is possible to add filter added hotspots by date or if is possible modify the code to display, let's say, only hotspots added in last month.

Do you think, it's possible ?

As far as I remember in the backend there is a sort option -> and there should be an option to sort be Date DESC. this should sort the hotspots in the menu on the right according to their creation date?

Isn't this something that is useful for you?

thank you for quick answer. But sorry, your proposed solution is only sorting and I'm looking for filter by date - from-to. If there will be added for example 50 hotspots per week in one place (or city), that will be disarranged on map.

But if you sort by date, wouldn't the latest hotspots always be on the first page?

Yes but I had in mind position marker on map. If I'm right all added hotspot markers (also older) will appear on the map and I would like to display only few of them - added in last month for example.

Should the old markers be searchable?

there is for example the publish up and publish down date. When you create a new hotspot you can set those dates so that a marker will be only visible for 30 days. Once this time has passed the markers won't be shown on the map anymore.

A filter that just shows the hotspots in a specific date range is currently not available in Hotspots.

It should be fine if old markers will be searchable.
I don't want to let the users set-up date range of publication.
I would like to kindly ask you, (of course if you find little time) to take a look and advise any solution how to do it automatically in back-end or hard code.
