Sorry but i m new here. How can upload only the changed files? If i cannot upload only the changed files, how can i install the component? Do i have to remove the old one or just install the new one and overwrite it? Thank you.

Hello Daniel again
I installed the last dev release. The map in the Frontpage loads ok. In the detailed marker page, map not showing (i see only a gray background)and the photo of the marker point is showing under the map field. Also, the map is not showing in the administration dashboard (gray background too).
Can you give me some help on this? Thank you.

Hmmm, this is not working. Icons not showing on top or inside the map, links to the detailed page returns error:
Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in /home/site/public_html/components/com_hotspots/views/hotspots/view.html.php on line 72

Also, i lost all the configuration i made in Hotspots. Markers, categories are there, but icons not showing.

Hm, that is strange.
In the joomla backend go to Menus -> your menu -> the hotspots entry. Edit it and save it. Is the frontend working again?

Yes, the detailed pages work again.

All icons dessapeared (i only see the word tooltip instead of the icon) i have to put them on again, all photos from markers and detailed pages dissapeared too.
Configuration lost (live upgdate id, map coordinates, etc).

Ah shit. I'm sorry. I'll need to rethink the way we work with developer releases.

You are correct. The marker icons & images are stored in the media folder. So when you uninstalled the component the media folder was deleted & that is why the images are missing. If you have a backup just override the media folder and everything should be there again.

Backup did the trick, just think about the configuration that went back to default. The only think I lost was the styled map. Thank you.
