TOPIC: Feature for future :)

So, we got the default look now - with categories. How about option where people who add locations can choose what marker-icon they want and all marker-icons to be listed into main map without categories? this way categories wouldn't need to be listed and there will be more icons to choose from, so the category scrolling will be avoided.

I'm sure you thought about this Dan, but I guess its a bit complicated just came on my mind, I hope this will be done.

If you look at the ajax response I'm sending you will see that each hotspot has the icon and shadow for the marker - right now they are all the same for the whole category, but I've already planned the option to choose a specific icon for your hotspot in a particular category.

It could work like this one day - you can post a free location on the map with the default hotspot category marker, but if you want to be noticed, then you can pay 5 € and you can choose one of the following marker icons, or upload one yourself....

Great idea Dan. All locations could be listed with one default icon into the map and if you want to get noticed, you can choose from the icons (ex. car rental).

This would be a great feature.

Will this feature be coming soon? I certainly hope so - it would add great value to sites using Hotspots, and if it comes soon, it will mean less hotspots to change/edit.
