Hi Daniel,

Could be possible to increase the number / quantity of tabs in the infowindow?
In the backend we have short description, Description (Detailpage) and we can create a third one: 'More info'.
All this information could be distributed to the 3 tabs.
The main tab(the only one we have right now) will be showing a short description, the 2nd tab the detail info, and the third one just more information about the place.
All these will be configured through the backend where we will be able to pick how many tabs we wanna show.

Something like this example:
http://google-maps-utility-library-v3.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/infobubble/examples/example.html

or here:

I'm not that big fan of tabs. (remember the last version of hotspots :))
So first the user should click on a marker, then he should click on a tab, then he should click on another tab? Why all that clicking? I don't want to make so much decisions. I want to click a marker, see if it has relevant information and click more if I'm interested...

Need some more feedback from other users.

The user will click on a second tab if the user is interested in the marker. If the second tab of information is not good enough to the user, then the user will click on a different marker.

The tabs will be activated in the backend: if you wanna use them, then you have the option to use it, if you don't wanna use them, then don't. None will be affected at all, but hotspots having multiple options, it will reach more people .

Clicking on 'read more' you jump to another page losing the actual map with all the information on the screen by the moment. If the user doesn't like the 2nd info is getting, the user will have to go back to the original map, making a lot of clicks in the way back.

With more tabs, the user will get more information in a fast way.

I think you both have good points - for me personally I tend to lean more toward Daniel's theory of less clicks are better but from a dev standpoint I agree that having the OPTION to use it makes your component more versatile and thus more attractive to potential customers.

Hi Preston,
It's what i am trying to give to my users: organization, more information, and less clicks.
