TOPIC: sobi import only for entries, not categories

Hi Daniel,

if I get it right during the sobi import all existing categories are deleted and the newly established categories get new IDs then of course. The fact that new Category IDs are created with every import leads to some problems (eg the Menu has to be given the new ID etc) or at least would not be necessary. For us it would be great if there was the option to only import entries and to create categories ourselfes (respectively make sure that the sobi category id matches with the hotspots category id). Would something like this be possible?

I just tested it and I cannot confirm what you are saying.
The existing categories are not deleted, just the categories from sobi2 are added to them.
If you import 10 times from sobi2 you are going to have 10 times the same categories.

There is an option for the import - delete old sobi2 entries. If you select it - then the previously imported sobi2 items will be deleted.

I tried the import with selecting "delete old sobi2 entry"=no.
The strange thing is: if I select: "link to sobi2 entry" in the line above, then I cannot select "delete old sobi2 entry"=no, only yes.
But I need the link to the sobi2 entry.

As you can see it is already fixed and it will make it into the next release.

But if you don't select anything in the delete field - it is considered as no.
