TOPIC: after re installing hot spots dont work

So why did you re-installed it in the first place?

My site was hacked through a vurnable JCE edition. So I had to use a backup.

Aha, I see! I think I know what is going on.
you seem to be running 2.0.5, but actually the js files are from 1.0 or so?

Make sure that all your folders on the site are writable:
administrator/components
components
/media/com_hotspots

And install the compoennt again. If that doesn't solve it. Uninstall your current version and try again to install 2.0.5

It is under downloads -> hotspots.
2.0.5 is the latest version for joomla 1.5 . Don't install any other version - it won't work.
