When I put in a KML file, all markers appear but without the correct icon. it seems that KML don't take care about the category ?

Hey Sebastien,
KML markers are not picking up the marker icon of the category. You'll have to specify this one yourself.

Thanks for your answer. :) If I was able to put the school marker in the KML file :it's ok. I'm just a little disapointed because the category selector doesn't take care about the KML file. I hoped that the markers imported by a KML file would do the same comportment as the markers created in the backend. But I think it's false ?

Hey Sébastien,
The primary goal of the KML integration was not to show a KML with markers, but to have a KML file that displays complex geometric figures - rectangles, pentagons, lines or whatever...

For simple markers one should use the add marker option in hotspot.

Daniel

P.S. I don't think that the google maps API allows us to manipulate the KML file from the outside (I might be wrong), but the way we add it to the map is just by passing the url to the file...
