Hey Bernd,
That error is strange. I cannot reproduce it... I know why it happens, but what exactly causes it is another story.

Could you go in the backend to the hotspots menu item (anfart) and edit it? Just open and save it. After that refresh the page in frontend and let me know if it works.

On the map view -> we are trying to get the information from the currently active menu (it should contain the metadata and keywords info) however, because the back link doesn't have a correct item id -> we get fatal error. On my test servers this doesn't happen so I'm a little unclear why it happens on yours...
Cheers,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,

i tried your suggestion, opened the hotspot menu item and saved it, even changed a few words.
Unfortunately the error did not diappear.

If i can help you with access to my server or my websites backend let me know.

I just build this website. It's not very much in use, so we can handle this relaxed.

Have a great day

Bernd

If you could send me a mail with backend access and ftp it would help me debug the problem. (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.)

Similar problem Daniel - I put the problem in wrong forum category first. Basically, if you use the plugin in content you get a fatal error.

Fatal error: Call to undefined method JModel::addIncludePath() in /home/uwgwnvhp/public_html/flamingoresortbodrum.com/plugins/content/hotspots/hotspots.php on line 104

Any ideas as to the problem? I simply used the {hotspots hotspot=1} in content - plugin is enabled, I have only 1 category and 1 map with id 1.

I use J3.01 - see my template / website here - www.flamingoresortbodrum.com

If you set the component up as a menu link to hotspots component, no problem, everything works except for a few display errors discussed in another thread.

Kind regards
Dave

The problem is not similar. Have a look at my reply:
