I am using joomla 1.7, I tried to integrate hotspots.
After installation I am unable to se the map in the front end, and also while submitting a place.
I am unable to see the side bar in the map as shown in the demo of your site.

Please help me, I tried many times but never worked right.

Hey Rama,
That sounds like a js conflict. Can you give us an url to look at your site?

Hey Rama,
I guess the next step would be to create an account so that I can login into your website. Also give me a direct link to to hotspots.

Hey Rama,
As I said there is a js error. :( This file is causing it:
joms.tooltip is undefined line 3267
scientificgroups.org/components/com_comm...assets/script-1.2.js

This file has obviously nothing to do with hotspots, but because it creates a js error, this messes our js and the map isn't able to load.

If would go to jomsocial and ask them what is wrong with the javascript and why the tooltips are undefined???

And actually why do you show the jomsocial menu on top of the map???

Hi,

Thank you for your quick reply,
The actual problem is with my template. Now the hotspot component is working fine.
I have found one more bug when trying to submit the location in the hotspot. Here when I have given some address in the submit form and click submit, the page is redirected to a blank page where it shows

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'xxxxx /administrator/components/com_comment/plugin/com_hotspots/josc_com_hotspots.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/php52/pear') in /xxxxxxx/components/com_hotspots/views/hotspot/tmpl/default.php on line 140

Though it is showing this error the address is actually being submitted.
I want your help in redirecting the page to hotspot map or my home page.

Hey Rama,
This fatal error is caused by the fact that you have enabled the compojoomcomment support in the settings of Hotspots, but obviously compojoomcomment is not installed. Just disable it again and once you post a new hotspot it should properly redirect to single view.
