TOPIC: Sliders at bottom for route planning and one on top right not showing

For some reason the sliders that are usually in the top right of the hotspots map and the route planning slider on the bottom aren't showing on my page. I looked through all of the configuration parameters in the backend and couldn't find where to turn them on. I attached a photo of the demo hotspots map to show which ones I'm talking about. The webpage this is happening on is:

Any ideas on why these sliders aren't showing?

That is funny.
Look at the menu settings -> there should be something about the footer elements. But right now I'm clueless about the menu.
Did you make changes to the template?

nope didn't make any changes to the template. it seemed to be working until i put in icons for categories and then that stuff dissapeared. i read on another post that people were having trouble with the category icons as well so maybe this is another side effect of the bug. do you have any idea on how to fix this? i looked up and down on the configuration page and didn't see anything about footer elements or any parameters mentioning the slider in the top right. not sure what went wrong

I see in the source code of the page that the variable show_footer_menu is set to 0.
Go to menu -> your hotspots item and look at the right at the settings. There should be an option to show the footer.

Ah, I see it now! Because I couldn't see the categories on your page I was looking for such an option in hotspots.

You can find all this settings on menu level. Go to your menu -> hotspots item -> on the right you have options to hide the categories, the menu and the footer. I guess you have checked them all...

thanks for looking into this. looks like it was a stupid mistake on my part for not checking the menu item parameters i thought this stuff was all located on the config page in the component.
