TOPIC: Script Conflict

Hi,

I'm using Joomla 1.5, with a Joomla Bamboo template, which means I'm also using JB's JBLibrary system plug-in. But my problem is that when I have this plug-in enabled, Hotspots won't work. The page loads up, but layout isn't quite right, predominently because the actual map doesn't show up.

Do you have any suggestions how I can work around this?

I've used a third party script library plugin to get around this problem. It's not quite perfect but will do.

Third party script? Which one? What does it do?

I helped a user with jblibrary few days ago - help mean - I asked him to disable it. You see the plugin generates javascript errors (even when hotspots is not on the page). And javascript is a strange beast... Errors in scripts not related to your code, brake your code... This is the way it works - you need to make sure that this library doesn't produce errors, and then you can use it together with hotspots.

Everything works, but I shall look further into what you've said about JBLibrary.
