TOPIC: 404 operator not supported for strings

have a strange 404 error in frontend when i want show the map:
404
[] operator not supported for strings

the console show the following:

GET engelkeller.ch/hotspot 500 (operator not supported for strings)
hotspot:1 Mixed Content: The page at ' engelkeller.ch/hotspot ' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure stylesheet ' fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Montserrat '. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.


what can i do for a working solution?


(i disable jch-optimize but it doesn't help)

What Hotspots version is that? And what PHP version?

PHP 7.1.1
Hotspots 5.3.3

Just tried it on Mamp with 7.1.1 and it seems to work Both a single hotspot view and the map view. What view are you looking at? Do you perhaps have a template override?

i have change the template to the original protostar but it doesn't help...

It seems that I would need to debug this. I'm out of ideas. For me tghe extension is working on 7.1.1 and I have no Idea why it wouldn't work for you. Could you create a private ticket and give me access credentials to the site? I could then debug further.

yesterday night i solved the problem.
it was the ich-optimize plugin. normally it work when i exclude the hole component from ich-optimize if something not work properly. but in this case i had to exclude a lot of javascript extensions from your component. now it work!

Hi Daniel,

I've a similar problem. Hotspots Pro doesn't work with php 7.1. When I switch back to php 5.6 everything is fine.
I cannot show any maps views

I'm running Hotspots Pro 5.3.3

Any Idea?

I have the identical issue. I get this 500 error on PHP 7.1 not PHP 5.6
