When someone clicks on a category icon in the hotspots interface I want to automatically "marker center" on the category. Currently, the behavior is such that the customer gets a message

"There are no locations in your current map view. Zoom out to see more results"

Clicking on the "marker center" icon fixes it, but I want that to happen automatically.

I have looked through all the settings and am not seeing an "auto marker center" in the category area. Note, it works ok when someone clicks on a category from a joomla menu, but the problem is clicking on a category icon in the upper left of the hotspots interface.

Hey Ken,
That is the current behavior and the old one was more or less wrong.

When the map loads for the first time it can be centered on the hotspots you have, but when you zoom into an area and change to a different category, then you don't expect to be zoomed out and placed over the north pole, because there is 1 hotspot in this area.

We've improved the behavior when you search and now auto zoom out only when there are no hotspots in your current area. And we'll do this with the category change in the next release. Up until then you'll have to live with it, till the new year comes :)

Thanks Daniel. The marker center works perfectly, would be great for an admin option to auto-marker-center on category selection, then the admin could do it if they want.

Another option would be the ability to move the marker center to make it more obvious and maybe give it a label instead of a label only when you mouse-over it (see screenshot).

I think the latest version is the best yet, everything looks great. This is the only minor issue I've run into.
