TOPIC: Center by geolocation

Hi Daniel,

I now this isn't realy the place for this question but forgive me

Is it hard to make and add an geolocation button to the menu?
I red an item in this forum but there was no answer to it.

When i am in my wheelchair searching for a nearby parkingplace
or toilet then it would be so usefull when i can see if there are
any in my neighborhood!

Maybe i can do some work myself if you can give me some hints

Hey Ton,
This is planned for the next release(center by geolocation). The way I've planned this to work is - get the user IP and match it agains a geoIP DB.
When the page loads the user will be still asked if he wants to share his locatin, if he decides to do so, then we will use the HTML5 api to get his location (which is more accurate than the IP centering), but if he decides not to do it, then he will be just centered by IP.

Is there news about when there's a new/update version of hotspot
with "center by geolocation"?
I am realy desperate looking for that solution
This option would help me make my website usefull for people
with an handicap.

Perhaps you can help me with a temporary solution?
