TOPIC: Resize View - Does not work in Firefox

Map does not resize properly in Firefox. Works with Safari, IE and Chrome.

I read the post about making a new profile, but that didn't do anything for me. It's also the same result on my other computers running Firefox. All are running FF version 17.0.1.

Can I see the actual page? I have the feeling that this is not hotspots that you have there??? Can this be?

Click on Outpost Map and then click the Resize button.

sorry! I didn't see the link in the first mail.
So I had a look at your page and you have html errors on the page (divs are not properly closed...). Most probably this is the reason why the map is not looking properly in fullscreen mode.
Have you modified the template? Make sure that the page doesn't generate any errors about those divs and then try the resize option again.

I have not modified the template, with the exception of removing some copyright information. The problem was there before I did that anyway.

To be honest, I don't even know where to begin with that...

If you use firefox go ahead and install this extension:
users.skynet.be/mgueury/mozilla/
then when you are at a page -> click view source and you'll see that it shows you on what line the errors are.
you've deleted a line too much when you've modified the template. (that is why there was actually " <-- " at the bottom of the screen - this should not be visible).
Once you fix the errors let me know and I'll have a look at the page again.

I changed the comments to /*....*/ instead and that removed the HTML errors.

So, I think that the problem is somehow related to either the template in question or something else on the page. I wrote to Andy Miller (from rockettheme) for advise and I'll get to you as soon as I have more information.

Naaaa, it has something to do with the overlays... The template is really complex and I can't really figure out what's going on as I haven't coded it... (if you try the standard joomla template - it should be working fine)

Well, drop them a mail with a link to that thread. Maybe they will know what is wrong, just by looking at the site

OK. So I ended up switching to a different template. This template also had overlay problems with Hotspots but I managed to get it worked out so far. Never got much response from the template provider on the original issue.

I'm sorry to hear that. Rockettheme are normally good at providing support & not blaming others for the problems.
I like the new template more actually

Hey Philipp,
I think that you'll receive best help from the developer of that template.
What I could determine however is that by modifying:
kulturforum-vilsbiburg.de/plugins/system...ult/css/template.css

on line 952:
#ja-container - remove the z-index
#ja-mainnav - remove the z-index

Then it seems that full screens works properly.
But again - contact the template developer and ask him for help.
