Hey !

Just bought Hotspot, very nice work i have to say.. but...

I can import my SobiPro entry, and that part works, but i am not able to link the Hotspot´s "read more" to
the sobipro entry, and i have set the import option "Link to Sobi2 entry" to yes.

When i press the "Marker custom options / Link to" i only have 2 options "articles" and "hotspot" NO Sobipro option.

Did you pull the support for SobiPro or is it an error on my end ?

TIA.. Christian

Hey Christian,
Go to the plugins page and enable the "hotspots links - sobiPRO" plugin -> after that refresh the hotspots edit page and you should see the sobiPRO option :)

Cheers,
Daniel

Hey !

Trust me, i will give you a good review...

But i have one last question...

Is there anyway that i can make sure, that category "Hotel" in SobiPro end up in category "Hotel" in Hotspot ?? because right now the entry´s i import, dont get a category in hotspot...

Is there a way to change the Hotspot predefined SobiPro fieldID´s, It would be nice, so i dont have to change them every time i import... :-)

Are you importing just 1 category in hotspots? If yes, then we could modify the import script to always set the same category id for all imported entries.

Hey !

I have 5 Category in SobiPro, it would be nice if the import script could check if there was a category with the same name (Ofcause the category name in SOBI and HOTSPOT has to be the same), and if there is, then drop the entry in that category.

Maybe if the SobiPro Plugin is enable, there is a option in the Hotspot category setup, where the admin can enter the SobiPro category ID number.. :-)

I got an idea about that. I'll let you know once it is implemented.

Hi, HotSpots is an awesome component!

I cannot figure out how to set up the "RSS feed SobiPRO data import". I figured that "RSS feed SobiPRO data import" meant that it updates automatically or on a set schedule.

I can see how to manually import the listings but I don't want to do that every time we update or add a SobiPro listing especially if I have to reassign each listing to a category.

Can I import just one listing instead of overwriting all of the existing ones or do I have to create a "New Location" in Hotspots and enter the new listing?

It would be nice to be able to assign several hotspots to a category at once since we have at least 300 listings. Many of our listings are assigned to more than one category in SobiPro. It would be even better to import the categories with each listing.

Right now it looks like we must:
1. Complete all of our SobiPro listings then import them to HotSpots.
2. Assign them each to a category
3. Add new SobiPro listings to HotSpots manually and edit existing ones instead of importing them.

Please let me know if these are features you are working on and when you expect to have them available. I am willing to pay more for a component with more features! :) Thanks!

Hey Ann,
I'm sorry - somehow I've missed a breaking line between RSS feed and SobiPro data import.
Hotspots has an RSS feed, that has nothing to do with sobiPro actually.

Right now priority is the google maps integration of services search as bicycle layer, weather layer etc. Better integration with sobi pro is not on the feature ilst for the next release.

Regards,
Daniel

P.S. If you feel that the feature description was misleading and that this is a feature that you cannot live without I can refund you.
