Believe it or not - there is an option for this already :)
Go to the settings and set "Marker detailpage" to 0.

In Basic Setting, Marker detailpage I can only select yes or no.

K, there is a bug - this setting was not applied to the menu readmore (only in the infowindow). Check out the latest dev release and it should be fine.
