Hi

We have just installed Hotspots on a Joomla 1.5 installation and it looks great. We want to place the map into a module position below an existing article so that we can have custom text and content above and below it.

I can get to the map by creating a menu item to it, but then there is no way to add an article to it, or is there?

Ideally want to put the map into a module position, is this possible please?

Many thanks
Jennie

Hey Jennie,
There is no direct way to add it to a module. However you can maybe use this trick:

hi everyone,
i was also looking for a solution and
i found a nice modul called " Modulix Component to Module "

in the modul insert the compontent-link
(e.g.: index.php?option=com_hotspots&view=hotspots)
and then place the module where ever you want.

works quite good but with small css-probs on my site.

i hope this is helpful.
best regards
sascha
