TOPIC: Missing map

I upgraded to the latest Hotspots 3.0, and the map has disappeared. You can see the problem here:

It was working to a certain extent before the upgrade. Any suggestions?

What do you mean with disappeared? I can see the map and categories on the site that you are showing us.

Ah, you are most probably on chrome. I see what you mean now.
Your categories don't have a marker shadow icon. Go the categories -> edit them and add the standard shadow. Then the icons will show in gmaps as well.

No, I was testing in Firefox 13.0.1. But even if I was in Chrome, shouldn't it work?

I will try adding shadows.

I went into the Categories, but no shadow images were available on the screen to select from. I tried to locate shadow images inside the files that were in the upgrade package, but no success.

I've attached an image file of what I see in the backend of Joomla 2.5.6.

And here is another image of what messages I receive if I select "Choose Sample Shadow" in the drop-down, even though there is no image to select.

Hm, strange. For some reason the sample shadow is missing from your installation.
I'm attaching it in this post. Download it and then upload it in hotspots.

Thank you, that worked, but what about Chrome? Did your comment mean it doesn't work in Chrome? When will all categories be shown in one map so people can see the relationship between places to eat, sleep and meet?

Add the shadow and the markers show in chrome as well.

Then you can go to the hotspots menu item in the backend -> edit it and select the categories from which we should load hotspots when the map is first shown.
