Is this a Firefox thing as I see it on the demo page too, or can I adjust something in a CSS file so that the submission page uses the whole page (seems to be a table set to 50%?)

Hey Doug,
You can modify the CSS file (media/com_hotspots/css/hotspots.css)

the form has a fixed with of 520px and the input fields 300px. Change those values to what you need :)
