TOPIC: New location: short description area not editable

Hi.

I run into a strange problem here...

When adding or editting a location I am not able te view text entered in the short description area.
Funny thing is though.. when switching to html mode in the short description window (I use JCE editor) the text IS there...

All other fields are ok.

Any ideas?

Extra info:

Seems to happen only in Firefox (version 11)
Chrome is OK!

IE not tested yet

(working on the Mac)

That is really strange. Are you sure that the text that you enter has the proper html formatting??? Not that you have an open div and you are not closing it...

Hi Daniel.

Yes 100%. I copy the same text I use for instance from the long description area (where it shows up just fine), but in the short description area it is not displayed (unless you enter into html mode from within the editor).

This is done from my Macbook Pro. I'll also give it try later this evening from my iMac to see what happens then.

I'll try to install a copy in a seperate environment cause this website belongs to a client of mine.

It's definitaly a Mac thing though... tried it on my iMac with Firefox and the same thing happens.
