I want to buy this product. I liked it too much. But i need some features on it.

T will use tabs for each hotspots and i am wondering that can i use :

1 - i frame
2 - swf files
3 - photo gallery (not flicker, my own gallery)
4 - video (from own server or from youtube)

i have a projet about 360 degree panoramic view. i have locations (hotspots) about it.

i want to use tabs for every location. 1 tab is explanation of location, 1 tab is for photos, 1 tab is for video and the important one is for panoramic wiev (it can also be iframe or flash embed)

i am sanding an illustration

ah, I understand now. There is no such options and you will need to hack the view files yourself (actually you will need to know js to create those tabs).

I think he used js for popup iframes, if i could make something like it, i dont need any tabs.

For all hotspots i can make list under small explanation to open popups for video, photo, and 360.

But i cannot do it

ARI Pretty Photo is the plugin I am using for popup iframes.

Contact them, and let them know that you wanna using their plugin together with hotspots.

Definitely more tabs for Infowindows will be a good feature, but let's see what the future brings.

If you have any problem with ARI Pretty Photo plugin, just contact them. They are the creators, and after you buy it, they will help you with any possible problem. But I don't think you will have any because the installation is really simple.

What is the difference between Short Description and Description (Detailpage)?

I asked this because i put popup box (shadow box - face box) in two of them.

It doesn't work on Short Description but works on Description (Detailpage).

Go to your hotspots settings -> the advanced tab I think -> there should be a setting to enable content plugins in short description.

In the past content plugins were able to brake the component that is why this setting is disable per default. Now with php5 and json_encode this is actually I think not possible...

You should think of short, long description as the "intro and full text" in articles. In matter of fact if you look at this screenshot:

You can see that in hotspots 3 those 2 fields have been merged into 1 - just like com_content.

If those 2 fields ( short and long description) have been merged into 1, that will create me a problem because I am using one of those fields as keywords container, a field that I don't wanna show to customer.

I need a field containing the stuff I wanna show, and I need another containing the keywords.

Daniel, Can you clarify more in this specific topic? If you can not make 2 fields in this way, I have been wasting my time waiting for Hospots 3.

Merging means that they are shown in the backend as one - the db structure is still the same:
you have a description + description small filed.

you can still type your keywords into one of the fields. In frontend we will show the stuff from the description_small in the infowindow and when you click on read more, then you will see the description field as well, but you can hide this one with layout overrides. So I think there is no need to be stressed out by that change in the backend view.

What do you mean with keywords field actually? Why do you need those. And maybe I should add keywords field as parameters to each hotspot, now that we are still in alpha state...

@Serkan - NO, please DON'T use ver3 right now! It has way too much bugs and the code is still not the way I want it to be. Please create a private ticket and provide me with access to your site. I'll have a look. Also is rokbox fired oncontent prepare event or is it a system plugin? We only fire the content plugins, so if it is a system plugin you will need to make modifications to the code in order to use it.

Thanks to clarify it. My soul came back to my body.

I am using the <long description field> to store keywords. For example: I have few restaurants and their menus are in this field, in this way, whoever is searching for some specific dish, they will be able to find the restaurant.

Sorry, I couldn't understand. Do you actually display this information to the end user when he goes in "hotspot view" or is it used just for the search?

I show the <short description> to the end user. I use the <long description> as a keywords container, and I don't show this section to the end user.
