TOPIC: marker on totally wrong place on map

Hello!
When I ad an entry, front end or back end, doesn't matter, sometimes (5 out of 10) the marker appears in the wrong place on the map. A Hotspot place in Berlin shows up in the middle of the Baltic Sea for example...
While adding the place, the marker appears in the correct position. after saving it and reloading the front end, the marker is in the wrong place... Sometime you have to re-save it 4 to 5 times until the marker is in the right position...
Is that a know issue? How I can I solve that?

I hear this for a first time...
Could you make the following check - when you change the address - are the coordinates changed? When you save the location, are there new coordinates, or do you still see the previously shown coordinate?

Which joomla version are you using?

it happend once some days ago and it happen this morning all the time.
At the moment I can't reproduce the bug... will always make screenshots and if it happens again, I'll post it!

Is it possible that the Google-Maps didn#t work correctly?

The whole thing sounds really strange. I have 400+ markers in my dev installation and everytime I create a marker, it is placed on the right position. My suspicion is that for some reason the coordinates are not updated and that is why it ends on the wrong position.
