TOPIC: Numbered locations (hotspots)

Is it possible to numbered the locations (hotspots) in a category (and displayed the numbers on the side of the map).
And also to display the numbered icons on the map?
Something like MapQuest?

Well, each hotspot has an id - so we could display that id, but I guess that you want to have numbered hotspots like 1,2,3,4 in each category, right?

Yes, you are right.
On the 'screen version', you can have a better view (you don't have to click each time on the side list to find the hotspot position).
On the 'print version' (see my topic 'Add locations (hotspots) on the print map'), it's mandatory because you cannot click on the paper...

Ok, I will think on some improvements here. Maybe a better version would be to show the infowindow on hover.

One solution (not the best, I think), is to have the icon linked to the locations, and not the category. So I can have a numbered icon for each element. And thousands of icons...
Have you any idea about this???
I don't know which algorithm MapQuest uses ...
