Dear Sir or Madam,
after I bought and installed hotspots 2.0.4 on my new Joomla 1.6.5 Website, I see only a blank map without any content.
You can prrof this on website.chem-tools.com/haendlerverzeichnis.html
How can I configurate your wonderfull tool to see the map !? Do I need Mootools 1.3 that is normally included in Joomla or do I need to configurate any further plugins?

Furthermore I would like to ask if it is possible to use an individual Google API Code due to Google's restrictions for using Google Maps in a commercial way? Where can I add my Google API?

Thank you very much for your fast asnwer!

Best regards

Andreas Hofem

Hey Andreas,
Could you provide me with ftp access to the page. I see that the ajax request to get the hotspots in the category is actually braking on your site.

Also - we use google maps API3 and it doesn't require you to enter any api key.

So, have you entered a new date format in the backend? Read the label description for the date format. Under joomla 1.6 the jdate function uses another syntax. And because your syntax was wrong a php error was created on the page.

Now it just shows a standard date... The call is working, but the facebook button on the right creates a javascript error on the page and I think that it is responsible for the problems with the map. Could you please disable it to confirm?

Kind regards,
Daniel
