I set the max width & height for thumbnails to 290 in the backend config but when I upload a photo for a hotspots the marker thumbnail is only the default 80px. I added a width attribute to 290px in the json/tmpl/default_description.php file and it corrects the width but the image is degraded like an 80px photo being stretched to 290px.

Any ideas?

I'll research this over the weekend and if it is a bug, I'll fix it for 2.0.4 dev.compojoom.com/issues/675 .

Hi Daniel,

Did you find out what the problem was with this?

Thanks Daniel. Just played around with it and it works, sort of..

In the hotspots config under the Advanced Settings tab, I set max width to 290 and left height blank. This resulted in no thumb being displayed.

Then I set max width to 290 and max height to 290 - this resulted in a thumb 290px x 290px.

The height of my thumb should only be 140px. So I set both max values to 290W x 140H and it displayed correctly. I take this to mean that all of my thumbs in the info bubble will be 290x140 instead of keeping their proportions.

Enter 290p in the width field (it is written in the field description). If you enter the letter p, the system will create proportional thumbnail. This should do it for you.
Kind regards,
Daniel
