TOPIC: Categories will not submit

Whenever I try to submit a new category nothing happens. The save and apply buttons are inactive. I just installed the latest version of Joomla, as well as the latest version of Hotspots. Please help!

The latest version of joomla is what? 1.6 or 1.7RC?
Look at your site with firebug, do you see any javascript errors in the console? (you most probably have some )

I am sorry for excluding my version of Joomla. I am using 1.5.23, the latest version of Joomla 1.5.

I am getting the following errors:
1) Class.Mutators is undefined (.../mootools-1.2.5.1-more.js) line 199
2) document.id is not a function (.../com_hotspots/js/Hotspots.Categories.js) line 7
3) Form is not defined (.../administrator/index.php) line 386

Hey Matt,
Have you enabled the mtupgrade plugin? If no, do so.
If it is enabled and it is not working, then I'll need access to your backend to check what is going on.

I can sure get you access to the backend of the site, but how should I send your login info? The multigrade plugin is already enabled.

I had a look at the backend and just as I suspected you are using mootools 1.12
Yes, I know you've enabled the mtupgrade plugin, that is true! In the past I had a client with the same problem and it turned out to be a corrupt mtupgrade plugin. Could you also send me ftp access? I'll check the files of the plugin and fix them if they are really broken, or I'll debug further...
