TOPIC: [Solved] Error while configuring: COM_Hotspots_Mootools is missin

Hey there,

after installing Hotspots 2 without any warnings on my Joomla 1.5.22-Installation I get the error-message:

COM_HOTSPOTS_MOOTOOLS12_IS_NOT_ACTIVATED.

I cannot configure hotspots or any other settings. I understand, that Mootools 1.2 itself is included by default while installing Joomla 1.5.19+.

Is the component COM_HOTSPOTS_MOOTOOLS12 a proprietary Hotspot-component? Is it missing?

Please be sure that you activated Plugin

System - Mootools Upgrade

in backend of your website as described in installation notice with hotspot 2.0.

COM_HOTSPOTS_MOOTOOLS12_IS_NOT_ACTIVATED - what language are you using? This string should actually say:
"It seems that the moootools upgrade plugin is not activated. Hotspots is not going to function properly. Click here to go to the plugin to activate it" ???

the applied language is german. I didn`t find the string in any of the de-DE.com_hotspots.*.ini`s.

Joomla 1.5 or 1.6.
I'll test this. Normally what should happen is that if you don't have the string in the german file, the translation should be taken from the english file and this way you won't see cryptic strings.
