TOPIC: Joomla 1.6

Hope that all is well?

I have read a few discussions in your forum and I saw that you were going to release a version of Hotspots for Joomla 1.6. Can you let me know if this has been released and is if so, where can I download it from - I saw on the 1.0 version on your site.

BTW - when is the new version coming out?

Ryan, it has not been released. The development is not progressing so fast as I wanted to ( I wanted to be ready today...). I'll try to make a preview on demo.compojoom.com for the new version and some time next week to have the first beta.

Btw do you know that joomla 1.6 will be outdated on the 10 of July - joomla 1.7 is coming out? (just wondering if users know that...)

I look forward to the new version being released. I heard that J1.7 was going to be released but I thought that it will only be in 2012. Hopefully they will make it so that a J1.6 site can easily be upgraded to J1.7 without changing all the modules.

In the next few days you are going to see a preview of hotspots 2.0 running on joomla 1.5. I plan to port this version to joomla 1.6
