TOPIC: Amount of Markers are not shown behind the categories

I have created several categories and distributed the markers from the initial categorie to some of the new created ones.

Before, when all markers were in one categorie, behind the categorie name (in frontend) the total number of markers was shown, e.g. (14).

Now, in none of the categories the number of markers is shown, it shows only (0), behind all categories, except one other, which was contained also one and was not touched by this action.
In some categories I have markers, they are in the map, and they are listed in the footer, if categorie is selected. But the total number of them is not shown in the header.
In backend everything is OK, .

Any Idea?

How did you distribute the markers??? You edited the markers in the backend and have set different categories?

Yes, I created the new categories, renamed the initial existing categorie as well and then edited the single markers in the back end, by assigning the new categorie from the drop down box.

In the back end in each categorie the correct number of markers is shown

Are you using hotspots 1.0 stable?

That is really strange. Normally when you save and edit a marker, then a recount of all markers take place. And this count is saved in the database.
log into your database with phpmyadmin and go to jos_hotspots_categorie table and look at the count field. Is everything 0 there???

Yes, I'm using 1.0 stable.

In the database the counts were all 0.

I have set now to the correct amount and it shows the correct amounts in the frontend.

I have added a hotspot and it was count correctly now.

I have shifted that hotspot to another categorie in the same manner as before (assigning another categorie in backend) and it works.

No idea what happend...

Anhow, it semms ok now.

Hi guys,

Usually that happen to me if I modify somehow the category like (change the name, change the icon, any information inside the category)
But If I just open any of the hotspot inside that category and I just save it again, the total number of locations will be showed again.
