Hello! I'd like to insert the map into an article so that my client can edit the text on the page from the front end as well as add markers to the map. All I see is to add the map as a separate page. Any way to put this into an article and still allow front end marker adding? Thanks!

Hey Aaron,
We don't have any kind of plugin that can integrate the map into content articles. We do plan to change this and have such a plugin till the end of the month...
I know that this is not the answer you expected, but this is the way it is right now.

Hi Aaron,

if you check out the joomla site for components in articles you may find something which helps. But be aware that there *may* well be issues with using this. Im using one at the moment and everything seems fine as it goes.

Hope this helps

Thanks for the help Daniel. I think that'd be a great add on for next time. Thanks!

Thank you Kate. Any recommendations on a particular one to try? I can't seem to find out. I appreciate it!

Hey,
no problem, as a tip I often find it useful to search within the joomla.org forum when I cant find an module / component etc I hope exists.

Hope this helps, check out:

extensions.joomla.org/extensions/core-en...Bjb21wb25lbnQiO30%3D

This is the one Ive used (not sure why the URL is so long) its in extensions under "Core Enhancements Embed & Include
"Include any component in a article (without iframe).<br />Code is {component url='url'}<br /> Replace url with the url to your component and include index.php?<br />For example:<br />{component url='index.php?option=com_component&Itemid=73&parameters....'}<br /><br />You maybe need to change the url when using an SEF component. If you get a component not found when using normal url then use the SEF url. So not:<br />index.php?option=com_contact&lang=en&view=category<br />but:<br />Contact-Us/category/</p>"
