TOPIC: How to import from Sobi2 with out Sobi2?

I would like to import from a Sobi in an other site, can I just copy some Tables in the database to make it work?
or do I need to install sobi? in the site?
I have complete access to both sites....
I would like not to install the sobi2 in the new site, because i do not need it,it woluld be easyer If I could just move the correct database tables for the hotspots to improt the map points, listing descriptions etc...

Is this possible? if yes how?

just move all sobi database tables and then go to the import tab in hotspots.

did copy the tables and I was able to import all sobi2 listings, but most of them do not show on the map:
I get:
Héroe de Nacozari esq. Encino Bucerías Bucerías not_found

the address was not found, is the hotspot looking for the address is there a way that the hostpost looks for the map coordinates of the sobi2? because most of the address on my listings are not found...

You don't have coordinates in sobi2?

The message that you get means that google cannot transform the address to a map location.
But I also guess that you are suffering from this missing feature:
dev.compojoom.com/issues/show/115

Right now you will have to manually edit the listings and point them to the right address.

Yes, that is it, most territory for my points is off road...
and Mexico addresses is something not even google maps can figure out =)
When do you think the new feature will be ready? placing points manually will be a trouble since I have more than 400 and more coming in daily.
I do not know, does Sobi2 has coordinates?

So in 17 days we should see a stable version (don't know if I can make it on time, but I'll try ).

Sobi2 doesn't have coordinates.

Once hotspots 1.0 stable is ready it should be able to show markers that are offroad, but for this you will need coordinates. All your sobi entries should have coordinates.

OK, thansk, so my sobi points wont work, is there a way to
"Roll back" the import. ?

Log into your database with phpmyadmin and in the hotspots table you should see all sobi entries (the author should be sobi).
