TOPIC: Including Comment Count Link in Category Listing

I created a menu item for a category listing on mys site - it lists all articles in that category in list format - and it occurred to me that it would be an excellent enhancement if CompoJoom Comments inserted Number of Comments and maybe a link to the article against each article in the listing.

For example - right now the Headings for the list are:

Article Title, Published Date, Author.

It would be great to include another heading - "Comments" - displaying the number of comments and a link to the comments for that article.

Hi Adrian,
Interesting idea, but you will have to solve this with template override. In this template override you should make some MySQL queries to calculate the count.

However I don't think that this functionality is needed in the package. A small percentage of users are actually going to want this, so I think that a custom template override for those users will be the right thing.
