Hy

Just bought Cmigrator this morning to migrate from an old word press to joomla 2.5

Everything went perfectly well

But when my migration starts: i obtain "Migration for users started!" but its stays for an indefinite time.

NB: my data base prefix is blog_ and not _wp. Also i have several prefix: blog1_; blog2_; blog3_ ...... up to blog8_

Thanks for your help
François

Hey Francois,
It sounds like you have WP MU there and not plain WP.
The thing with MU is that it has users that doesn't have an email address. Because of that we cannot import them and the migration gets screwed up. If you log into the db and remove the users that don't have an email address the migration should be able to finish up.

Kind regards,
Daniel

Thanks Daniel for your fast reply

After checking, it seams that I have only 2 users inside the database and those 2 users have emails. Do I have to check if the emails are working correctly ? Can I cancel the users to create them once i'll be in Joomla ?

Would you like a dump or access to the DB ?

Thanks
françois

Ok, cancel the user migration and let me know if it works.
Yes, I would like to have a look at your db to figure out what is going on there with the user migration.

Thanks,
Daniel

P.S. Send me a link to the dump at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
