TOPIC: Email sent to a specific user when a comment is added!!

Hello! I 've a VERY strange problem.

A user is complaining that he receives an email for every comment is inserted in my site!!!!
Consider that this user is a simple - registered user (not moderator or something) !!!
In compojoom settings i haven't even checked "NOTIFY MODERATORS"...

Well, has the user set the option notify me on new comments??? Go to comment list, find where he commented and look if you see a green envelop - then you know that he has checked the option: "notify me on new comments"

no ! the specific user is not checked to notify...
BUT if he does, it means tha he will receive emails for ALL COMMENTS? not the nested comments to his comment only??? (i want this)...

He will receive notification about all comments and not only the nested replies.

Check if there are any other users with the same e-mail or anonymous users with the same e-mail that are subscribed to the topic.

so i should shut down the NOTIFY USERS from compojoom settings...

Yep, turn it off and he should not get any email. If he continues to get emails I will need database access to your website and I'll need to know the users id....

Well, the feature that you request is I guess not that appealing to the general public so I doubt it that I'll include it in a future release. With that said, I want to improve the notification system and let the users much easily unsubscribe from notification mails as it is right now.
